Day 1: Fes to Merzouga

Day 2: Merzouga to Marrakech via Todra Gorge

This The Itinerary of 2 day desert tour from fes to Marrakech
Day 1: Fes – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga.
We will pick you up at 8 o’clock from your hotel in Fes and travel via Ifrane for short walk then to Azrou, where you can see Barbary apes at close range in the forest of the Middle Atlas. Lunch is in Midelt, the apple capital, at the foot of the Ayachi Mountain. We continue over the Tizi-n-Talremt pass and through the Ziz Valley, which is particularly well-known for its palm trees and the length of the oasis. All along the road there are innumerable ksars, small villages of individual houses. From here we reach Er Rachidia and then Erfoud, famous for its date festival and fossils. Afterwards we continue to Merzouga, where you will experience the camel ride towards our camp. When you arrive at the camp you walk to the high sand dunes to see the sunset. You will have dinner under the beautiful desert sky and spend the night in a private tent. It will be a magical night when the sky is clear of cover and stars sparkle and shine with intensity.
Overnight at private upgraded tent en-suite bathroom & shower:
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Tinghir – Ouarzazate – Ait ben haddou – Marrakech.
After the sunrise and the breakfast at the camp, you will ride a camels or 4×4 Suv back to Merzouga where we will leave for Ouarzazate passing through the Dades valley, passing many kasbahs that give this extremely popular route its nickname “Valley of a thousand Kasbahs”. Just before the town of Skoura, we will stop at Kalaa Mgouna, the rose city, where you can purchase local rosewater and panoramic pictures for the valley. Then we will continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate we will stop at the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. The Kasbah is one of the most intriguing red earth castles lining the ancient road of the Kasbahs, and is a UNESCO world heritage site for beautiful panoramic view and if the time allows we will have short walk inside the Kasbah before continuing the tour towards Marrakech, drop you off at your hotel where the end of our service.
