Day 1: Marrakech to Merzouga

Begin your adventure with an early morning departure from Marrakech. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains, stopping at breathtaking viewpoints along the way. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a striking kasbah known for its role in various films. After exploring this historical site, continue your journey towards Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, enjoy a thrilling camel ride into the dunes, witnessing the mesmerizing sunset over the Sahara. Spend the night in a traditional desert camp, where you’ll experience Berber hospitality and enjoy dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga to Fes

Wake up early to catch the stunning sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, depart from Merzouga and head towards Fes, traveling through scenic landscapes. Stop at Erfoud to visit its fossil museum, then continue to Todra Gorge, where you can take a short hike amidst the impressive cliffs. Finally, journey on to Fes, arriving in the evening to conclude your desert adventure.

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech city, many riads does not have access by car so the driver will park nearby and come to get you.
You will be droped off at the nearest point to your riad/hotel , our driver can call your riad to meet you if needed.

This The Itinerary of 2 Days desert tour Marrakech to Fes

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas mountains”Ticka pass” – Ait ben hadou – Ouazazate – Tinghir – Erfoud – Merzouga 

We will pick up you from your hotel/riad at 7 am to start our journey from Marrakech to Merzouga Across The Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas Pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber Villages and before arrive to Ouarzazate we will stop in panoramic places to enjoy the view and take pictures such as ait ben hadou then we continue to Cinema studi. We will keep driving through the road of thousand kasbahs & Dades Valley, we’ll pass through ,Tinghir where we will have lunch. After lunch we will pass through Tinjdad, Jorf (Before Jorf we will stop for see system irrigation) then continue to Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then we continue to a Hotel in Merzouga at 6pm, then we will ride The Camels on An Adventure Crossing The Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes, this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise. when we reach the camp we will leave the camels and we walk to the highest sand dunes for enjoy your Free Time with Sand-Boarding. Dinner next of your tent where you spend the night,watch the Stars Astronomical.
Overnight at:
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
In the morning after the sunrise, breakfast and shower at the camp, you will ride the camels to our hotel so as to travel towards Fes via Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved into volcanic rock, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt. Then we continue our journey to Azrou, where we stop to see the Barbarian apes in the famous Cedar forest in the Middle Atlas. Then we go to Ifrane “the Switzerland of Morocco”, to stop for a picture. Afterwards we drive to Fes and drop you off at your riad where the end of our service.
